There is a very similar admonishment being repeated between the Sandy Hook Shootings and the Boston Marathon bombing. It is, in fact, repeated almost word for word, and is identical in message. Journalist John Rappoport covers thoroughly the Boston version in the reblog I listed below.
The admonishment is this: “We are your source of truth – your ONLY source of truth.”
The message during the Sandy Hook incident went even further, crossing the line into brutish intimidation. In fact, the words used by Lt. Paul Vance should raise the bile of anyone living in a supposedly “free” country. Who does this jerk think he is?
“Misinformation is being posted on social media sites. It is important to know that we have discussed with federal authorities that these…these issues are crimes, they will be investigated, state-wide and federally, and prosecution will take place when people perpetrating this information are identified.” – Lt. Vance
What he is precisely saying is that free-speech is a crime. Conjecture is a crime. Discussion about this event is a crime – so long as it differs from the “official” version:
“Again, all information relative to this case is coming from these microphones (MY mouth) and any information coming from other sources (sources we don’t control) cannot be confirmed, and in many cases, it’s been found, is inaccurate.” Lt Vance
F*** you Lt. Vance, if that is your actual name. You disgust me, as do those you’re aligned with.
If thuggish statements like that don’t make your skin crawl, then you will be very at-home in the new America that is quickly coming.
Here’s the Boston version, delivered by FBI special agent Richard DesLauriers:
…these images should be the only ones, I emphasize, the only ones that the public should view to assist us. Other photos should not be deemed credible, and they unnecessarily divert the public’s attention in the wrong direction, and create undo work for vital law-enforcement resources.
Why does it matter so much to them that their information (words, pictures) is the only that the public should consider? They are acting as if the people that contemplate views which differ from theirs are assuming policing powers themselves – which is patently ridiculous. They are acting as if that’s what free-thinkers are trying to do, but it’s just an act. What they are really afraid of is free thought itself, and where it leads to – the revelation of their mountain of lies. That’s why they are attempting intimidation – it’s the last resort of scoundrels.
Don’t ever let anyone scare you out of thinking for yourself – your mind is the only thing truly under your control, unless you willfully hand that control over to these aspiring tyrants.
